Guido Werth Memorial RR

This past summer Guido Werth collapsed at home in front of his wife after a heart attack. Guido was the reigning Royal City Chess Club champion. His 1687 CFC rating was low because many of the club events were unrated. Chessfirst.com and the club teamed-up to put on a memorial event, complete with its own trophy. The format might change but the event will be held annually at the Royal City Chess Club in New Westminster.
